Jack's Cheesy Bean Soup is like nothing else in the gourmet soups market...! It is a thick, rich and creamy soup with a definite spicy southwestern flair. Included are an abundance of Pinto, Great northern and Pink Beans and Savory Fare's exclusive spice pack. All that is needed are four fresh ingredients (like green chiles and a generous helping of Monterey Jack Cheese) to prepare a soup that is both delicious and memorable. Add piping hot corn bread and a crisp green salad and this super supper will be a repeat performance all winter long...!!! Each Savory Soup Sack comes with easy to follow cooking instructions, nutrition facts and savory soup mix spice pack. Jack's Cheesy Bean Soup Mix Instructions Add the following: 1 lb. Ground Meat (Turkey, Chicken, Beef or Pork) 2 Tablespoons olive oil 1 Large Onion, chopped 2 (4 oz.) cans Diced Green Chilies 2 Cups Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese Remove Savory Spice Pack, set aside. Rinse and Check beans. Drain and place beans into a large pot with 8 cups water. Bring to a rapid boil uncovered for 10 minutes. Lower heat, cover and simmer until beans are SOFT (2 hours or more). While beans are cooking, sauté onion, meat and olive oil in medium pan until cooked through. Add Savory Spice Pack and Chilies to meat. When beans are thoroughly cooked, add the chili mixture and simmer for 25 minutes, remove pot from heat and stir in the cheese until melted. Add water as needed. Enjoy...!!!
